ATTENTION Boston Public High School Students!!
The Goal: The goal of this award is to recognize outstanding work being done by a committed Boston public high school student. BIDMC seeks to honor a high school student who has made environmental awareness and conservation a priority by taking action in their local high school. We are looking for an individual who goes above and beyond the minimum expectations (like recycling) by leading environmental change in their school, inspiring behavioral changes in their peers, innovating beyond expectations, promoting a sustainable choice or demonstrating openness to piloting/implementing new ideas. If this describes you or a student you work with, please nominate yourself or them for this award.
In honor of BIDMC’s 20th anniversary of our Healthy Work/Healthy Home event that recognizes the medical center’s commitment to meeting the challenge of environmentally sustainability, we will honor our high school student awardee with a $250 college scholarship.
