Golfers across the Commonwealth took to the GREEN on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Norton Country Club to help raise funds for Massachusetts’ leading Environmental Education organization.
As a result of this event, Green Schools anticipates being able to directly support 30 MA-based Schools or 300 Student Ambassadors!! How’s that for making The Green Difference!
The event was being presented in partnership with Invensys, a leading global technology company dedicated to helping other companies reduce waste and improve efficiency and sustainability, and Geosytenc, a consulting firm that addresses problems involving environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure.
Other significant Sponsors include Crew Energy, Environ, Sodexo, ESP Solutions and North Easton Savings Bank. Additional Sponsors included: Hockomock Area YMCA, Honest Tea, Brad Brooks, ERM, Dewar, Next Step Living, Barrows Insurance, Waste Management, Veronica & Howard Wiseman, and Middlesex Savings Bank.
Green Schools would like to thank all who came out for this event and those who worked so hard behind the scenes to be able to support more Students and Schools. Green Schools would also like to thank our Golf Tournament Committee, our Volunteers, and Manchester Essex Regional High School – Young Women In Climate Team & Green Schools Executive Team for making our awesome Environmental Education signage!
We couldn’t have done it without you, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
