People are asking, “What can I do to protect our environment?”
With the U.S. deciding to leave the Paris Accord, never before has there been a more important time to protect our environment and shape the future. Creating a culture of environmental concern and action starts with students. In every school. In every state. Across the U.S. And we can make a green difference. From the ground up.
This spring and summer Project Green Schools is growing a Giving Tree. We are looking for businesses, organizations, government leaders and individuals who share our vision to make a commitment now and help us grow our Giving Tree. We need your help.
Sprout a new leaf with your donation.
*The tree reflects gifts made to-date in 2017: Large leaves = $20,000+ Medium leaves = $5,000+ Small leaves = $1,000+
Project Green Schools (http://graphicdesignmehosting.com/pgs) is developing the next generation of environmental leaders through hands-on, project and solutions-based learning, community service and action for students K-12. Students work at the intersection where STEM meets energy, environment and public health, while developing sustainable solutions, soft skills, as well as college and career readiness.
Our students get extraordinary opportunities. They engage in discussions with state and federal government leaders, participate in leadership events at the White House, present at The UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, earn college scholarships, and so much more.
Big Milestones for Project Green Schools

⇒500,000 students
⇒Our 10th Anniversary
We got here by growing one school at a time. And now it’s time to do more. Faster.
Project Green Schools’ new strategy exponentially accelerates our impact by partnering with state governments to offer our content, leadership and recognition-based programs to all schools in a participating state.
Rhode Island was the first state to transition to the new, centralized model. We worked with the RI Department of Education, state legislators, supporting agencies and businesses to offer the Project Green Schools Program with state-sponsored leadership and recognition opportunities.
Representative & House Majority Leader, K. Joseph Shekarchi presented this message at the state awards ceremony.
Project Green Schools is currently operating across the country, with schools in nearly every state. This year, we are already working to transition Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire to the new model. Your investment makes it possible.
Every $75,000 enables us to switch one state over to a centralized model, allowing them to offer Project Green Schools programs to EVERY school, public and private, throughout the state. That is a substantial advantage over the school-by-school model, which costs approximately $1,000 per school.
Want to help us move even faster? This model scales! With your support, we can expand this model to every state across the U.S. Your donation will sow the seeds of a worldwide shift in culture to a greener future that grows with our children.
Your investment today activates new schools this fall, across the U.S. Every gift, large or small, makes a green difference. Sprout a new leaf on our Giving Tree with your donation.
