Kathleen McAllister is a senior environmental planner for Horsley Witten Group. She has more than 11 years of experience in environmental and water resources management and has been involved in water resources and climate change planning projects at municipal, regional, and federal levels. Kathleen’s expertise is in watershed planning and management, climate change adaptation, source water protection, and emergency response planning. She recently worked with the Kellogg Foundation to develop educational and technical materials related to reducing children’s’ exposure to lead in drinking water in schools.

Prior to her work at HW, Kathleen worked on sustainability science and policy analysis at the U.S. National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC. Kathleen has a BA in sociology from Lehigh University and a MS in environmental sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
