Hello, my name is Alisha Senghani! I’m a senior at Plano East Senior High School located in Plano, Texas, and I am thrilled to be this year’s Policy Coordinator. Over the past four years, my passion for environmental advocacy and sustainability has strengthened as I have participated in environmental events hosted by the City of Plano. Since 2023, I have been serving as a Youth Ambassador for Keep Texas Beautiful and actively partake in volunteer programs related to environmental sustainability, education, and beautification. I have a strong passion for community outreach, which has motivated my efforts to educate elementary schools in my school district about proper recycling techniques, sustainable practices, and environmental preservation. A fun fact about me is that I have visited over 12 national parks in the past five years! I look forward to an exciting year with the National Youth Council and can’t wait to meet everyone!
