Hello! My name is Ayan, a senior from Arizona, and I am thrilled to serve as this year’s Programming Officer. Over the past few years, my passion for environmental sustainability and public health has strengthened as I have contributed to the work of the Arizona Sustainability Alliance and now serve as a focal point for the Children’s Youth and Major Group to the UN Environment Programme, where my goal is to give youth a voice in environmental issues worldwide. I also actively participate in restoration projects within my community and have authored a children’s book about different ecosystems to help educate young minds about the natural world. Outside of this, I love to travel and play pickleball with my friends! I am looking forward to this year and am excited to see what we are going to accomplish!
