Cory Shin, a former Project Green Schools National Youth Council President, is a fourth-year dual-degree student in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he is conducting research on the European Green Energy transition and what takeaways and lessons there are for the rest of the world. Previously, he interned in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) as a Legislative Intern working on issues ranging from the environment to foreign affairs, as well as serving on the leadership team of his local food bank, which served over a 1,000 families a week during the COVID-19 Pandemic. In addition, on behalf of Project Green Schools and the Advisory Board, Cory has attended a series of U.S. Department of Education and Environmental Protection Agency events while also providing feedback and support for the sustainable pitch competition and Green Difference Awards.
