Lucette Nadle is a retired physician with decades of clinical healthcare experience and a deep commitment to the connection between human health and the environment. Her career has spanned Emergency Medicine, community health—including serving as founding medical director of the SBCHC Urgent Care Department—and a private Osteopathic practice integrating conventional, complementary, and natural approaches to health and wellness.

Lucette believes that healthy people depend on healthy communities and a healthy planet, with access to clean food, air, water, and safe places to live, work, and play. Passionate about education and prevention, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and communities make informed, healthy choices.

Lucette joined Project Green Schools in its earliest years and has contributed to the organization’s growth and development in numerous capacities, including as a longtime Advisory Board member. She remains passionate about creating opportunities that empower young people to become leaders in environmental sustainability, climate, and health.

A lifelong learner and educator, Lucette also volunteers with Literacy Unlimited, teaching English to immigrants. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she enjoys watercolor painting, music, kayaking, spending time with family and friends, and experimenting with gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free recipes.
