Jim Cohen is partner with the law firm Verrill Dana, LLP who practices at the intersection of law and politics. Jim focuses his practice on energy and telecommunications and assists a wide range of clients with matters before state and local regulatory agencies and boards. Jim is a former Mayor of Portland and served as vice chair of the Portland Charter Commission in 2010. Jim has also served as board chair of the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce, and Portland Trails. Jim currently serves as board chair of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority.
