As a 200-Hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher, and an Ayurveda Health Counselor at Boston Ayurveda School, Kim’s passion is to help others find the best version of themselves. With experience working in both nonprofit and private industry, she has been able to develop skills and leadership qualities in the business world. In one of her most recent roles, she recognized the importance of building a community – bringing her much fulfillment. Kim has been able to contribute her experience with the community by assisting with the development of a community outreach program at a local business and established a wellness initiative for staff.
During Kim’s time working as the Data and Operations Coordinator at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum, she learned the crucial role of building strong, meaningful partnerships. Her experience contributing to multiple steering committees throughout the community contributed to her nomination in 2018 as an Emerging Leader on the SouthCoast.
Former Workforce Coordinator at One SouthCoast Chamber and the Greater New Bedford Workforce Board, Kim was able to connect and engage with youth by offering Career Awareness, Career Exploration and Career Immersion opportunities to youth in and out of school to be able to provide them with meaningful work experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Kim has used that experience to continue advocating for youth through her community and career. She is very excited for the development of new initiatives that have stemmed out of her Ayurveda Health Counselor training.
