Krish Wadia

Outreach Coordinator

Krish is a student at Townsend Harris High School in Queens, New York, and is excited to serve as Outreach Coordinator for Project Green Schools’ National Youth Council. He’s a Research Intern at the World Bank, where he researches sustainability-linked bonds and health financing for global health outcomes. He also leads the NYC Public Schools Office of Energy and Sustainability’s Youth Leadership Council, coordinating recruitment across 100+ under-resourced schools, planning the DOE’s annual Youth Climate Summit, and organizing monthly sustainability workshops citywide. In addition, he’s an Investment Analyst at a climate investment firm and researches Scope 3 emissions in digital commerce through Harvard Extension School. At school, he serves as Equity and Access Chair of his student council and leads his school’s Civic Leaders of America chapter as President. He hopes to bring his mix of data, policy, and hands-on organizing to the Youth Council. In his free time, if you don’t find him exploring the city with his friends, you can find him watching true crime documentaries.
