Michael Isenberg brings expertise in marketing, operations, business planning and financial analysis. He has over 15 years of experience as Vice President at Chex Finer Foods, a 3rd Generation Specialty and Natural Foods distributor. Michael has been involved in environmental leadership since tenth grade when we founded his school’s recycling program and environmental club. His environmental accomplishments include co-founding RI HOPE (a statewide environmental high school network), leading the University of Pennsylvania Environmental Group, founding Two Shades of Green (a green business club), and completing multiple campus environmental audits at the University of Pennsylvania. After college Michael worked advising companies on strategies on social and environmental responsibility. Michael’s community involvement include membership of the board and co-chair of the capital campaign for Southside Community Land Trust. He volunteers advising startup socially responsible food companies and serves on the distribution council of the Specialty Food Association. Michael lives in Providence, Rhode Island with his wife Karen and daughter Samantha. He is an avid cook, gardener and vacation planner.
