Noa is a sophomore at the University of Washington working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Terrestrial Resource Management. She has interned with Nortis BioTech working with human organ-on-chip technology as a sustainable alternative to animal testing for pharmaceutical development. She also interned with Seattle’s Beacon Food Forest which is dedicated to equitable food systems that attend to soil health, native plants and biodiversity, and healthy ecosystems. She is an active member of the University of Washington’s Environmental Policy Student Association. As an intern, she is looking forward to supporting Project Green Schools’ efforts to promote STEM and environmental programs throughout our education systems.
