My name is Varun, a sophomore from Michigan, and I am thrilled to serve as this year’s Programming Officer. My passion for energy and sustainability began at a young age and deepened through my research on GPU energy optimization and my involvement with Myles (Michigan Youth Leaders for Environmental Stewardship), a statewide coalition advocating for environmental education. Through this work, I have been able to connect with students, environmental leaders, and policymakers across Michigan. Outside of this, I love to play the cello, tennis, cook, and debate with my friends! I look forward to using this platform to connect students with environmental programs and opportunities so we can work together to make a difference in our schools and communities.
